PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Fire Station No. 79 is located in northern Fontana, California near the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. The Fire Station is a $3.5 million project which involves the main 6,800 square foot fire station building and four smaller service buildings which are adjacently sited. The service buildings include the Generator Shed, Fuel Tank Canopy, Storage Shed, and Shade Structure. The buildings are pre-engineered light-gage steel structures which facilitate early fabrication of the steel member components and rapid on-site erection. The Station consists of the high-bay area parking space for two (2) fire engines and the living quarters. The living quarters consists of the sleeping quarters for five, kitchen, showers/bathrooms, entertainment/day room, exercise room and offices.
