The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) has launched new low-floor trolley service on the Orange Line, marking the completion of a $13 million renovation of the line's stations. A ceremony was held Wednesday, January 9th, at the Euclid Avenue Transit Center in San Diego to recognize the occasion.
The CALTROP Communications team kicked off construction on the I-5 / Ortega Highway Interchange Improvement Project with a groundbreaking ceremony in San Juan Capistrano on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. The team helped Caltrans put shovels in the ground on a project that will bring much-needed improvements to the major interchange while creating a new gateway to the historic downtown area.
The El Dorado County US 50 HOV Lane Phase 1 project was selected as Transportation Large Project of the Year for 2012 by the Sacramento Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The awards ceremony was held February 20th at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West, where the Project Team was honored with a special plaque.
CALTROP secured a three-year contract with Caltrans District 44 to provide A&E On-Call Project and Program Management Services - Statewide, which will support the development and construction of projects within Districts 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9 and 12.
CALTROP was selected to provide Construction Engineering and Construction Inspection Support Services, Materials Sampling and Testing Services, and Claims Support Services on an "as-needed" basis throughout California in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino and Lake Counties. CALTROP has been working with District 1 since 2002.
