Forth Replacement Crossing (FRC) Bridge

CALTROP was awarded the contract in February 2012 to provide independent quality assurance consulting services during the construction of a new cable-stayed bridge in Edinburgh Scotland.

I-405 / I-605 HOV West County Connectors Project

The OCTA / Caltrans I-405 / SR-22 / I-605 West County Connectors – West Segment project in the cities of Long Beach, Seal Beach, Westminster and the community of Rossmoor consists of widening the existing interchange and constructing direct High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) transitway structures to allow for continuous movement of carpool vehicles connecting from one freeway to another.

Bridge Over the Contreras Reservoir,Villagordo Cabriel, Spain

The Contreras Bridge, a high-speed railway bridge over the Contreras Reservoir in Villagordo Cabriel, Spain, is an upper deck arch bridge with a main span of 261 m, the sag at midspan is 36.94 m the sag-span ratio is 1/6.77. At this moment this bridge is the longest span arch railway bridge in Europe. The arch is founded over important plinths and footing to transmit the total load to the rock.

AT&T RNC Build

CALTROP completed work on six sites for AT&T’s RNC site build project in Tampa, Florida in 2012. The project lasted one year and the sites were all new rooftop locations.

Railway Viaduct Over Alcántara Reservoir, Spain

The viaduct consists of two main sections with a total length of nearly 400 metres. The sections are supported on concrete pillars rising from the banks of the river and on steel arches in the centre. The arches span 220 metres and are 42.6 metres high.
